Role: Sound Design
Work at Monash
Monash Country Lines Archive is a fantastic project that, through ‘using the latest 3D animation technology Indigenous stories and languages come to life –records the past, preserves the present, and protects Indigenous languages and knowledge into the future.’
I have worked on four animations for this project - helping to recording dialogue, mix and master audio and design sounds for each.
From recording bird sounds, a particularly memorable foley session recording some meat being cut up and eaten, through to sythesising sounds to go with a tear-drop falling from the moon, it has been an interesting and rewarding project to be a part of.
