A Private Matter is a short film directed by Kate Halpin about ‘A reserved, young woman burdened with a weighty secret, returns to her rural hometown accompanied by her outgoing partner in order to spend the weekend with her conservative family, with disastrous consequences.’

I worked with Kate in producing some original music for the film. I wrote and produced a track for a long sequence in the middle, using a mixture or synthesised and sampled sounds.

A Private Matter has gone on to win numerous awards and has been screened in countries all over the world. It has now been viewed on youtube over 500,000 times.
